8:00 – 8:30 a.m. Coffee/Juice/Bagels for Alumni Advisers and parents taking part in ‘Phi Delt 101’

Room 311 – Olpin Student Union.

Parking is available in front of the Olpin Student Union.

8:30 – 10:30 a.m. ‘Phi Delt 101’ w/Alumni Advisers in Room 311 – Olpin Student Union

Parents meet with Utah Alpha Alumni Advisers in Room 311 of the Olpin Student Union for an overview and introduction to Phi Delta Theta – great for those who want to learn more about this organization their son has joined. No topic is off the table. (All without your sons in the room).

10:45 – 12:00 noon Parent’s Club Meeting: Parents meet with Parent’s Club leaders and Utah Alpha Alumni Advisers in Room 311 – All parents are encouraged to attend

Parent’s Club meeting – learn and discuss how the Parent’s Club can support the chapter.
General discussion about your sons and Phi Delta Theta (without your sons in the room).

12:30 p.m. Meet at Chapter House to meet sons for lunch and get a taste of Salt Lake

(Lunch – dutch treat, at one of Salt Lake’s classic hamburger places.)

3:00 – 4:30 p.m. Tour of Rice-Eccles Stadium including the new Garff Red Zone

Meet at the west side entrance of the stadium under the Rice-Eccles sign

6:00 p.m. Dinner and an Evening Together at the Chapter House

The Phis are making and serving – it should be a great dinner! Join us for an evening of food, yard games, movies and fun.

Sunday, October 30, 2022

No group activities are planned for Sunday so it is a free-day to do whatever you would like with your son – shopping, touring, resting

Parents Weekend Registration Fee: $800.00 per one parent/son team
An additional $20.00 per additional parent
(We are so sorry we have to charge at all, but this fee covers most of the cost of the
weekend, food, activities, tickets, etc. – we’re still poor starving college students and we
would be really embarrassed to have only Top Ramen and popcorn for us to eat while
we watch Family Guy re-runs on the Chapter House TV with you)

• University Guest House & Conference Center located in the Fort Douglas Heritage Commons on the University campus
Ask for the ‘Parent Discount Rate.’ If you have not been to the University Guest House before – it’s similar to a Courtyard Marriott Hotel.
